Employee Volunteering Made Easy with Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits’ VolunCheers Online
Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits has launched VolunCheers Online, a new website enabling Southern Glazer’s employees to connect with one another and easily organize and find volunteering and fundraising events supporting local charities across the U.S. and Canada.
“Our employees in South Dakota have a history of giving back to our community,” said Joshua Guy, General Manager of North Dakota and South Dakota, Southern Glazer’s. “With the new VolunCheers Online portal, I think we’ll really be able to take our local levels of volunteering and giving to new heights.”
Instead of relying on word of mouth, email, or sign-up forms, Southern Glazer’s employees can now simply login to VolunCheers Online to view and manage all things charitable-related.
With the new portal, employees have the ability to:
Employees are encouraged to leverage the new online community to manage any volunteer or fundraising events they are planning in their respective markets. Southern Glazer’s is deputizing VolunCheers Online “ambassadors” across the country to help lead the charge in furthering awareness of VolunCheers Online and in drumming up participation within their regions. These ambassadors are Southern Glazer’s employees who have demonstrated a passion for giving back to those in need, and a history of organizing charitable events and fundraisers. Events and campaigns managed through VolunCheers Online this year will be highlighted in the Company’s annual Philanthropy & Giving Report, which will be published in December.
